I want to ensure that your child is cared for correctly and that you are confident in my own abilities or that of any assistant(s) and or students if any do attend the setting (currently I work alone and do not have any assistants this may however change in the future).

 

It is, therefore, vital that we have a transparent culture within my childcare setting where everyone feels able to raise any concerns they may have.

 

If an assistant has any concerns regarding the way children are being cared for, concerns regarding the practice or myself or any other assistant then they must report them.

 

All concerns raised will be taken seriously and fully investigated.

 

If an assistant feels unable to discuss the matter with me then they should refer the matter to Ofsted directly.

 

Parents are encouraged to discuss any concerns they may have regarding their child's care with me. Alternatively they are able to discuss them with Ofsted. Please see the Parents complaint policy for further information.
